Are you passionate about helping others and making a positive impact in your community? The Okeechobee Tax Collector’s Office is looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented Customer Service Specialist to join our team.
What You’ll Do:
Provide courteous and efficient service to the public in-person, over the phone, and via email.
Assist customers with property taxes, driver licenses, vehicle registration, hunting & fishing licenses, and other state services.
Accurately process payments, forms, and documentation.
Maintain confidentiality and follow all applicable laws and regulations.
Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
Who We’re Looking For:
A professional with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in basic computer programs and comfortable learning new systems.
Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Prior customer service or clerical experience is a plus.
